It is possible to redirect the sounds that normally come from your
computer's speaker to the speakers connected to your audio card.
Once
you do this, however, you will not be able to hear POST beeps (computer
beeps made during power-on self test).
To redirect your computer's sounds to external speakers
1 Locate and remove the PC Speaker connection from
your motherboard.
2 Connect a wire from the +5V DC pin of the
motherboard's speaker connector to pin 1 of your card's PC Speaker
connector.
3 Connect another wire from the PC Speaker Out pin of
the motherboard's speaker connector to pin 2 of your card's PC Speaker
connector.
